my favorite part of higher is that all this stuff, @aethernet, /optimists, higher athletics, podcast, art mints, etc. is all additive

the simplicity of higher as a meme acts as a base layer for anyone to come along and contribute with their own flavor, whatever that may be 

contributing to higher solves the cold-start problem for creators with a built in audience (ht @jack), and by contributing you’re adding another layer to the meme, which helps the higher meme grow, which feeds back into itself by helping your contribution grow, and so on

yes, and - it will be additive for a very long time as we'll be in expansion mode until there might eventually be some competition between similar contributions in a narrowly defined space.
