ventured into the x hellsite to scrub my account for good. and i *only* had to see a few assholes posting "your body, my choice" while i was there (╥_╥)

i used tweetback to create an archive site at tweets.riotgoools.com for my old tweets (https://github.com/tweetback/tweetback)

then i used a combo of @bradbarrish's delete tha tweets script and tweetxer to get my stuff out of there as fast as possible (took less than an hour to do 11500 tweets this way)

unfortunately, i can't fully deactivate and have sit on the username bc that site is a misinformation machine and i don't want someone taking my name to scam ppl

yeah, i've gone through multiple instances in the past few years in the crypto space of ppl stealing my stuff to pull shit

i considered just fully deactivating and letting the natural chaos take its course over there but i couldn't bring myself to do it. even if i'd like to think that everyone still on there is too morally compromised to care about, i know that's not truly the case and at the end of the day no one deserves to be hurt

I didn't even think about the potential for scammers to use your name to do fuck shit. I'd like to have an archive site of my tweets if I ever get access to them.
