forums! do u still use any forums regularly? i used to visit a bunch of art, music, and other forums but not much anymore ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ "When I want information, like the real stuff, I go to forums [...] there is just certain information that requires the dedication of adults who have specifically signed up to be in one kind of community." i feel like channels here are trying to reach something like this but imo wc channels are missing one crucial feature for this: chrono reply bumping as immediate visual feedback to let u know a conversation is happening within a channel cast (⌒_⌒;) https://aftermath.site/best-active-forums-internet-today

I love forums. I used to be on a lot of forums sinceI'm like 13 years old. Forums were like the best times. Peak internet for me tbh. I've been on so many forums and I really miss them. Nowadays they are just not it's just not the same anymore.

yeah, a lot of the ones i used to visit just kind of emptied out slowly over time bc of social media (╥_╥)

Yep. Reddit was the start of the end :/ I think nowadays we wont see truly big forums anymore outside those that are still established (e.g. HF) or fill a very specific niche in black hat/grey hat areas. The rest is just small and snails along, at least thats how it feels to me. And tbf, who wants to wait nowadays for a reply in a thread? Instant engagement is the meta, sadly.
