So our 3 year old has some trouble finding the right words and his articulation. We went to a meeting last night to get some tips and tricks... Very interesting, but the thing that blew my mind mostly was what she asked me.

I woke up today, went to the studio and immediately checked in with someone in my space and started a conversation that wasn’t goofy or random. Felt good.

I feel like conversations are strangely dying off in exchange for small snippets of interaction which is sad

I notice it in myself a lot as well

To be aware is a good starting point. I’m gonna work on it and see how much it will change over time:)

Agreed, feel like I have fewer and fewer actual conversations. It almost is a struggle to keep in contact with people.

Just reflecting upon it scared the shit out of it. A meaningful conversation to me is a conversation without a filter or any distractions.. Just being able to openly express yourself about either feelings or opinions. I noticed I always keep everything in me and actually often try to avoid it in most cases.

It's quite baffling how little of them we have. So many of our conversations are just day to day chitchat. It's also very hard to have one for the sake of having it.

Although, I also think everyone's definition of a meaningful conversation is different. Do you have an idea of yours?
