Ryan Routh, the person arrested for yesterday's plot, voted for Trump in 2016 according to his own social media. Supported Haley and Vivek in the recent primaries. Fairly clear he is right leaning based on that. But, was registered in NC as an Unaffiliated voter. Also anti-vax.

Thomas Crooks, the July 13 shooter, was a registered Republican since 2021 to time of his death. There is a rumor he donated to a progressive PAC on ActBlue in Jan 2021, but there is also refutation this was a different man with the same name who is a registered D from Pittsburgh, PA which is the city on the donation record, opposed to Bethel Park, PA which is where the shooter was registered. Doesn't seem to be much other info available about Crooks other than the fact he was wearing a gun club shirt at time of death.
