Earlier, I heard you say it took around 2 years to launch Farcaster. 

What took so long?

(Not judging, I’m genuinely curious. Was it the headaches of building it as a decentralized network? Something else?)

What was the initial idea you started with? Was Farcaster always supposed to be a decentralized social media platform?

Iterating on form of idea / MVP from October 2020 to July 2021. Onboarded the first 400 or so people via a 15-30 min Zoom call. Slowly scaled from there as we figured out core product.

Took until June 2022 to get meaningful cast liquidity that the feed had new content when you opened it up.
