You can often recover a lot of free disk space by resyncing your consensus client. This is especially true if you have not performed a resync in a while. It takes 2-5 minutes using a checkpoint sync endpoint.

Here are some charts of network traffic on one of my Ethereum node in the past 30 days. This is interesting to compare traffic before and after Dencun which happened on March 13th. There seems to be a slight average increase on the recv side (green).

I'm proud of all the stakers who updated on time for the Dencun fork. The participation rate bearly dropped at the time of the fork. The network is strong 💪

Blobs are going to use at most 94.9 GiB on Mainnet after the Dencun fork. It's going to be slightly less in practice. There is no need to feel disk space anxiety even if you are still on a 2 TB SSD. A good execution client + consensus client combo should use around 1 TB on a freshly synced or pruned node.
