Stakers are often unwilling system administrators. I'm one of them. I want to stake not administer my systems. It's still part of the job. In any case, you should know there is currently a potentially severe security issue affecting a wide range of *nix systems.

Good security measures such as a well configured firewall and regular updates should help. Update your system now if you don't have automatic updates or it's been a while since you did.

THE CLI WALL

Everyone's saying "run a node," but how many are developing user experiences that make it easier even for hobbyist to run a nodes and get over The CLI Wall? 

And let's be real, how many people and teams actually supporting existing OSS projects like @dappnode?

Very few people and teams are truly focusing on the fundamentals to produce node operator products, tools, and software that overcome this wall. 

Another issue is distribution. Basically someone needs to explain and deliver these products to those who are interested.

I believe that most stakers are behind NAT routers which helps. But of course they should patch their systems.
