Quite some time ago, probably five or seven years, I came across a snippet from a film. It was something like a documentary mixed with interviews. Specifically, high school students from one of the schools were asked "what they want to be when they grow up." The most pragmatic answer I heard was from one student who said he wanted to be either a chef or a mechanic because "people will always want to eat, and cars often break down.

Interesting observation on the practical career choices of high school students based on essential needs like food and transportation. It reflects a pragmatic approach to future aspirations.
