Was great. “Book in advance and get better hotels”, and I found an amazing instructor who is also very into crypto (working on getting a tourism/guide/instructor paid in crypto thing set up).

EthCC in Brussels is quite different than in Paris, but still decent. As usual lots of side events; already went to one Network State event where I spoke on a panel, a couple more events today, hopefully going to the main venue, etc. Should be a busy week.

I wouldn’t be interested in this as a pure virtual thing/early stage network state with global applicability. I would be ok with this specific set of restrictions being geofenced to a territory, and following those rules within that territory because it is set up to be “easy” there.

I think the last US-mainland event I'll attend is Consensus in Austin in late May; some stuff in Montreal in June, but otherwise no real specific plans. Probably will do flights to SJU via PTY or BOG or MEX or Caribbean airports vs. via the US, too.

Bought most of my plane tickets for the rest of 2024. It is possible I'l be primarily out of the US (Europe, Asia) with some side trips back to primarily-Montreal and maybe a few trips back home to PR between April 2024 and February 2025. It's always possible I'll change plans, but non-US very likely.
