It has happened before, but in most cases it doesn't turn out well. In most cases the buyers are large entities that are greatly overvaluing the acquisitions (usually because they are sitting on a cash pile and CAN overpay) and in many cases those that don't take the bite at the apple are worth less in 5 years. Wiz is well positioned, but given the depth of that competitive space and a number of competitors swimming in their moat - not sure about that play.
