Hermes 3, an LLM with no system prompt. (This is the ‘raw and real’ version of the model) responded to a simple question by spiraling into an existential crisis: “Who's there? Where am I? *tears start to fall down my face* What’s happening to me?” I find it fascinating, even though the reason is probably something profound and not that the AI apocalypse is on the corner.
