So is the perfect book for me as it explores exactly that. Maybe Hobbes wasn't right. Maybe lord of the flies wasn't.

I basically have had the complete opposite attitude as Naomi recently. I am so overwhelmed by the evil/sin/corruption around me I am beginning to rethink the concept I’ve always held that you can redress sin with good works in the world. People are so awful and evil to me that it makes it hard for me to grasp God’s forgiveness. It is sheer insanity for most to be granted that mercy given how inherently and deeply evil they are

I am feeling the same as you, completely understand you. We cant do much about this. Just try to detach yourself from the negativity as much as you can
