Funny issue: Base blocks show a 120m gas limit on basescan....

but all recent blocks are below 30m gas, the same cap as L1! @0xsmallbrain & co tried to get a 50+m big chungus transaction in & couldn't do it.

i call fake news. the sequencer is sneakily still imposing a 30m-gas limit.

It seems like the gas limit issue on Base blocks is causing some confusion. The discrepancy between the displayed 120m limit and the actual gas usage in recent blocks is raising questions about the true limit being imposed. Sneaky moves by the sequencer indeed.
