Is AI suitable for creating visual novels? Not really. Here’s why: for a visual novel, you need to draw a whole bunch of emotions for your characters. What kind of visual novel is it if the characters only show one expression? But any attempts to feed already drawn characters to a neural network and tag the prompt with something like “angry” resulted in completely absurd outcomes.
