I think I messed up so I'm doing it again... Rain 5050 $DEGEN I'm confused. Is doing the quote cast more of a: - "I'm helping you get on the leaderboard by quote casting YOUR cast" or is it - "Let's switch this convo to MY cast so I can get engagement and a bigger score on the leaderboard"? Explain why you feel it's one or the other

I think it’s more that repliers want points so they turn anything that would’ve been a reply into a quote cast

I’m doing this mainly to see cool content and get more people to see my content and opinions. But about the reward, it’s better if you want to quote someone, to also leave a comment or opinion for that person before quoting them. That way, it feels more fair.

I feel like it’s dependent on who’s quote casting and if context is being added. Some big names do it for option 1 but I’ve seen many other quote cast without additional remarks and I feel like it’s for themselves

I’m cynical, I think in most cases it’s because QC allows the QCer to get more visibility and accrue points for Warpcast weekly rewards

It can be both. Some people care about engagements and leaderboard scores so they might quote cast strategically. Others just do it to genuinely share their thoughts and continue the discussion in a way that makes sense to them.

actually I’ve never really considered the leaderboard when I want to quote or reply but I know I prefer to quote cast especially small accounts coz some of them are flagged as spam, so that’s my way of helping. and lowkey I feel sometimes people don’t see replies quickly, so I’ll rather quote without thinking about the leaderboard.

i totally don't know&care tbh...i don't try to grind up in that leaderboard tbh and just will be thankful for anything i'll get...but i heard recasting without quoting is a bad thing in general so i stopped doing that...useless anyways because unlike which it works on X no one really sees it haha!! my guess/hope would be #1 is the way!!

beside from what I thought was the reason: letting more users know about that cast / telling your opinion publicly instead of leaving a comment among the two if I have to pick one, the first one makes more sense!

Yeah, it’s mostly just clout-chasing. QC gives them a spotlight and a shot at some Warpcast points actual contribution is secondary at best.

I’m going with helping you and others to get on the leaderboard. If something is funny or interesting I will quote, I don’t have many followers so I can’t have bigger score on the leaderboard.

Imo, talking about quote casting can get engagement and a bigger score on leaderboard that's correct also don't forget to engage someone who on the leaderboard which is on the "TOP 20" that's what i'm doing and it works sir ramsey i hope this opinion help a bit to you! 🫶
