we’ve come back to this topic again, and i think beyond just telling the story, it’s important to highlight what i did wrong and what you should pay attention to.

yes, there are scammers and fraudsters among us here too, just like bots and farmers, they easily adapt to any community and platform.
i got caught and lost my wallet with all the funds.

i shared what actions i took, why they weren’t enough, and what else could help.

I’ve been in crypto since 2018 but back in 2021 when I started learning about web3 I was scammed several times on discord. For lack of knowledge and also for FOMO! 

So now here, I’m extra careful and sorry to read how @ramina13 was scammed. I love the wallet integration to my social profile but the scammers love that too! 

Please do not engage with DMs from people you never interacted with in public. If the builder is legit they would have no problem engaging in public. I currently have over 30 DMs on the request folder, and the 2 times I went to the person profile and reply to one of their casts in public their accounts disappear! 

Again, please don’t engage with strangers in DMs, assume they are scammers! Doesn’t matter how legit the account looks. Don’t trust till verify!

Thank you for being public about your experience; must people don’t like to share about being scammed; it’s a silly stigma. If we get scammed we need to scream and point to the culprit so everyone knows!
