Interesting. Some of these decisions seem odd to me. Wouldn't you want to incentivize activity from newer members rather than old/big accounts?

Also if only reactions within the last 8 days matter, doesn't that make storage mostly useless?

I would assume because the snapshot for payout is taken at the end of the Month, you could end up getting a lot less if the storage wasn’t upgraded- the tippers oldest casts start getting deleted

It depends which way you look at it. Being decentralised, we are essentially paying for ‘bolt-ons’ ( additional storage, creating channels and so on).

The tipping culture drives those behaviours which helps normalise them to ensure warp is sustainable 

Not sure on why it’s done at the end

Which is kind of crazy. I have to pay to make sure my tips are valid? That feels like the incentives are in the wrong direction. Also, calculating everything at the end of the month seems like an odd choice. Why not along the way?
