The ancient Romans were quite fond of one unique form of it was chariot racing.the Circus Maximus in Rome,which could hold up to150,000spectators,was the largest racing stadium in the Empire.Chariot racing was not only a sport but also a significant cultural and social event,attracting people from all walks of life.
