Flows has been a key partner in my journey and in the impact we’re building with the Nouns Trips project. They believed in and supported something I’ve always wanted to do — but could never make happen with help from the state or private companies. Thanks to their trust and shared vision, we’ve been able to turn an idea into a project that’s changing lives mine and the community’s. Every hike, every connection, every step in nature is also a step toward health, belonging, and collective awareness. I’m deeply grateful for their belief in the power of the simple, the accessible, and the collective @rocketman

A touching message from a mother after the trail walk with her son Heitor, who is on the autism spectrum: "Hi, how are you?! Did he like it?! He loved it! He hasn’t stopped talking about it, he already told me several times. He’s even telling his cousin. He said they went by car. I wasn’t sure, so I packed him a snack for the café — he said it was really fun and that he ate everything lol. He said it was the best day ❤️ He said it’s the best school and that he loves being there." This kind of experience shows how connecting with nature, along with care and inclusion, can create unforgettable moments — not only for the children but for their families as well.

Transparency matters! We received a 97 USDC grant from the community to make another edition of Nounstrips happen—this time at CEMUCAM—and here’s a breakdown of how it was spent for this weekend’s hike: Gas (transportation): 17.79 USD Grocery store (food & water): 22.91 USD Snacks & sweets for the crew: 14.17 USD Support/logistics items: 19.90 USD Total spent: 74.77 USD Remaining balance: 22.23 USDC (which will go towards materials or the next trip) Every cent was turned into care, support, and meaningful connection with nature. Huge thanks to everyone who believes in this project. We’ll keep hiking, healing, and building impact with purpose!

Richard was our most inspiring hiker! A true example of courage and inspiration for everyone. Even as a person with physical and intellectual disabilities, he joined the hike with full autonomy, enthusiasm, and always with a smile on his face. He kept up with the group and was always ready to help others! But his greatest achievement goes far beyond the trail — Richard is a resilient young man who has overcome much bigger challenges in life. His story is one of true strength and transformation.

At the end of our hike, we carried out educational activities about the Atlantic Forest biome, sparking curiosity and awareness about environmental preservation. To wrap things up, we handed out small bags with personalized gifts, including Flows stickers — a symbolic keepsake from this special day of connection with nature!

Today, we from @nounstrips and @flows, in partnership with the state school, continued to make a real impact in the lives of the residents of Jardim Santa Clara and Jardim Marajoara communities — promoting inclusion, education, and a sense of belonging! We took students, guardians, caregivers, and teachers on a transformative experience at Cemucam Park. We did an inclusive hike, learned about the Atlantic Forest biome through activities and group dynamics, and wrapped it up with a delicious breakfast to recharge our energy! And everyone got a personalized gift with the @flows logo to take home a piece of this special day! Small actions. Big impacts.

Parental Authorization for Friday’s Hike at Cemucam Park Hey everyone! This Friday we’re going on another adventure with the Nounstrips project — this time at Cemucam Park. To ensure everyone’s safety and participation, we’re sharing two important documents: 1. Parental/guardian authorization for minors to join the hike; 2. Image release form, so we can capture and share the experience. Please make sure both forms are signed and returned by Thursday at 8 PM. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions

This Friday, April 11th, the Nounstrips project is taking a very special group on a hike at Cemucam Park: students from a public school’s Special Education program, for a day of connection with nature, inclusion, and joy! The activity will include free transportation, snacks sponsored by @flows, and outdoor recreational activities, creating a full experience of well-being and environmental awareness. This initiative is only possible thanks to the support of those who believe in social transformation through nature. Let’s walk together toward a more inclusive and welcoming world!

Safety with Nounstrips "A tour guide and adventure leader must always be learning and ready for any situation! At Nounstrips, safety comes first. That’s why I’m internationally certified in WFA (Wilderness First Aid) – Remote Area First Aid, ensuring that all participants in our trips are protected and can fully enjoy the experience with peace of mind. Exploring nature is amazing, but being prepared for the unexpected is essential!"

Disconnect to reconnect! Bazoti and Isa shared something incredible about their Nounstrips experience: their son Isac and his friend Marcos put aside games and social media to enjoy a special outdoor moment, engaging with family and nature through physical activity. Each hike is an opportunity to strengthen bonds, take care of mental health, and learn more about our biome.

More than just encouraging physical activity, Nounstrips is bringing families closer together! In a world increasingly connected to screens, we have been providing real moments of interaction and adventure in nature, rebuilding family connections.

Douglas is a young man of approximately 30 years old, who leads a sedentary lifestyle and is overweight. Through the Nounstrips project, we managed to encourage him and introduce him to the world of hiking as a way to help him engage in physical activity and improve his physical health. This "turning point" made him interested in upcoming trips and even led him to enroll in a gym.

At breakfast, we had an enlightening talk and class about the principles of WEB 3.0, NOUNISH values and philosophies, and how they contribute to the collective development of the community. We are replacing harmful acts, like alcohol-filled nights, with waking up early on Sundays, engaging in physical activity, learning about nature, and overcoming nomophobia. We also distributed stickers and had a photo session with Noggles.

Today, during our hike, we gained valuable historical, geographical, and environmental lessons, while also practicing the principles of Leave No Trace: Pico do Jaraguá, a historical and geographical landmark, has always been a reference point for ancient inhabitants and indigenous people. We had the privilege of observing local wildlife, including the "resident" of the Atlantic Forest, the Howler Monkey. We applied the Leave No Trace principles: don’t leave traces and don’t feed wild animals. Jaraguá, of indigenous origin, means "Lord of the Valley", connecting us to our rich history. Every step brought us closer to nature and reminded us of the importance of respecting and preserving it.
