It’s a bit insane how much my quality of life increased after I bought a few plants.

Vote on comment is what I’m thinking (eg +1) But also signals of how many people are reading / commenting on the proposal at the same time as you. Basically I’m thinking of “social governance” where it’s an activity people do together online

What if you made comments update in real-time, and you can post, or post and commit, vote by committing on someone else’s comment?

In my family it was frowned upon to use “me” and “I” — it was always “we” because there was no such thing as doing no something alone. As a result, now as a writer and a builder, it always seems write to use “we” even when it’s something done by myself

What is the relationship between protocolized and civilised? Does protocolization require new language for the process which it targets? Does the specificity in language (that encoding) mean, that as a consequence, the participants are more civilized in that process?

Resilient governance requires a system where no single agent or body can gridlock the protocol.

In almost all cases we actually don’t want credible neutrality. What we want is equal opportunity to contribute to a shared mission.

Distributed governance requires a diversity in governing bodies, objectives, rights and privileges, jurisdictions, and infrastructure. This is a requirement to avoid immutability — to avoid stasis there must always be a path to open.

The other note is that “verified” mark is one of the many outcomes of the attestation action,,, so the check seems like it should be reserved as a badge — while the action is what needs an icon

Feels like 6 and 7 are the most obvious at first glance, but 13 feels really compelling. The issue with the check is that it’s a bit confounding to me as “message read” and * feels like “add a footnote” which aligns with the concept of an attestation
