I want to say something like "a fully empowered meritocracy". A process in which everyone is incentivized to share their own credible conviction without being muted by quirky side-effects.

It’s actually a bit different, the definition: Jean Lave and Étienne Wenger introduced the concept of legitimate peripheral participation (LPP) in their seminal 1991 book, Situated Learning: Legitimate Peripheral Participation. Legitimate peripheral participation refers to the process by which newcomers to a community of practice become integrated into that community. It involves a gradual and legitimate introduction to the practices, norms, and culture of the group through meaningful, peripheral involvement. Over time, as learners gain knowledge, skill, and experience, they move toward fuller participation in the core practices of the community.

That makes a lot of sense. And I think this is how it works in the real world in all of those quirky communities, plus the quirky second order effects that take away from the constructive forces. In one word I wanted to say that LLP is what "Uvio" attempts to optimize for with its dual-step decision making process. I would be curious what you think about the approach of "staking on opinions and verifying real outcomes".

IRL this often happens organically. By just showing up you learn the stories and identify ways to get involved. How might we encourage legitimate participation in digital communities?
