based on my conversations with many users in the space, thereā€™s a growing emphasis on building products people love to use and believe in, rather than obsessing over alignment. this isnā€™t about mercenary behavior, itā€™s not a charity. users will sell airdrops of products they donā€™t believe in to reinvest in ones they do. we donā€™t need a reset, we need to keep building things people actually want. https://x.com/punk9277/status/1904043814245060728?s=46

i genuinely believe warpcast has a shot at changing social media. i've been testing anything i could get my hands on since i was a teenager. back then, i was sold on the idea of having full control over my data. with age, though, iā€™ve become a little less idealistic. i still remember 2014, when ello.co came out. it made a lot of noise, and i wanted to believe. i was super active. some of my posts even went viral. it felt like it had potential. but then it pivoted into an artist-focused platform and quietly faded away. what i love about warpcast is how diverse the content is. dev talk, memes, art, tech, travel, itā€™s all here. and while the feed doesnā€™t feel as curated as twitter or instagram (maybe just not enough volume yet?), thereā€™s something else: people are actually enjoying it. not chasing incentives. not pretending. just showing up and vibing. that's rare.
