As I was looking at photos from my "professional" days and comparing them to the pics when I was in a staring contest with a baby penguin... I knew I made the right choice. I may no longer be in front of the camera, but I am smiling even bigger. Sometimes the scariest decisions lead to the most beautiful destinations.

In 2018, I sold everything, bought a camera, and took a one way flight to Peru. No plan, just a dream stuffed into a backpack. People called me crazy. Others called me fearless. But here's the truth, the first 12 months were brutal. Some nights I questioned everything and wanted to quit. Other nights I was pinching myself for I couldn't believe that this was my life. Here's what nobody tells you about chasing dreams: • Fear never goes away • Doubt is a daily battle • "Making it" will look different than you'll ever imagine • Motivation will come and go, but purpose keeps you going. To chase my dreams, I learned that courage isn't about being fearless. It's about being scared and showing up anyway. But the biggest lesson? Your dreams don't need everyone's approval. They just need YOUR commitment.

This week I stepped out of my comfort zone and talked to strangers at a local event, and one thing stood out to me: Most people sleepwalk through their 20s and 30s, settling into routines and relationships that lock them into a predictable life of check boxes. But this is the time to break the rules. Risks now cost less, but the rewards last forever. So if no one told you today: 🎯Start a side hustle, start alll the side projects! even if they flop—they’re lessons. 🗺️Travel somewhere you’ve never been; you’ll grow more than you can imagine. 📈Invest in yourself: books, mentors, and experiences — they will change your trajectory exponentially. 💪🏻Take care of your health and fitness—workout not just your body muscles but your mental muscles, the creative muscles. Because when you improve, your life improves. Life is for living. Don’t just exist.
