The bigger take-aways: ⚰️ LLMs are coming for sites coasting on the SEO of outdated articles. The StackOverflow-type sites need to be taking a hard look at surfacing relevant and burying outdated. ✍️ Everyone needs to step-up their documentation. The best docs will win out.

📱 Wisdom through texting… 💁‍♂️ A dog's MO is to basically convince you to love it unconditionally, then it spends the rest of it's life trying to commit suicide doing dumb things. 💬 That’s sweet and terrifying. 🤷‍♂️ That basically sums up the pet ownership experience.

It's IMHO bad UX to be typing along and only get the countdown of remaining characters at 50. Arguably less a protocol issue and more and app one, but the value is in the quality of content and a counter helps people edit as they go versus hack to make it fit at the end.

Some C. I think Twitter counts a URL as 17 chars regardless of the URI length. This might be mitigated dev-side as URL unfurls, and image/video/audio as other data fields? Like all features, logic should depend on the value to the people using it V the cost to implement, but SOME customization is probably unavoidable.

Option B + some C + the remaining char. counter from A. B: Concur with the build for humans replies. Hot take is also the "half as many messages" argument may be a bit fallacious. Not every cast will max out, people maxing out will just thread and post multiple casts, so you're down to people abbr 2 fit w/i char lmts.

📚 With @reneeb. Dr Seuss. "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," "The Cat in the Hat", and "One Fish, Two Fish…" likely have the reach and longevity. "Grinch" also benefits from being perennial in addition to being passed down generationally.
