i went from being very into self-improvement stuff, then to thinking it was all corny slop for a few years, and now i'm back into it but through the lens of self-study. i see it now as just trying to get better at the meta-game of living, which is an infinite game

I have found the most personal growth thru self study and reflection. But, I’ve had a lot of time locked up to do that type of thing. 

A lot of people never even consider this type of thing. They just go thru life from one reality show to the next.
