Consensus & Willingness would need to be accurately captured in society to change the political will.

If this was an entirely fair and transparent supply and demand economy

A question I ask myself more and more about U.S. policy:  “Is there consensus that this is a problem that needs remedying?”  Most often the answer is no sadly.  We could have nationalized healthcare in a heartbeat if there was a willingness 😞
