Here are some higher jersey and athletic tee mock ups I've made, some rough drafts. Any of these could be made real with some refinement. 

Sharing for posterity - this is pre-WIP, just idea sketches. 

Starting with: a button up tee/jersey with A-frame arrow. Would be cool as a baseball or hockey style.

Pocket ringer, large arrow, upper placement HIGHER, baseball jersey style (needs added half placket buttons) 

Could also look good as a golf style rain slick pullover

Short sleeve rugby style button up. Would probably be better with a collar and a long sleeve, thick ringspun cotton/embrodery. True rugby style

Would probably work best as a cycling jersey, added kidney pockets, spandex materials, sublimation print

Could be dope as a polo, or maybe even a cricket style instead
