20x400 @ 4:00/km (rec 400 @ 4:35) Not difficult for the legs. This is a hard mental training: 20 reps seem infinite. Definitely I couldn’t have done in the track. So I choose a route of 16 km and was easier to think that whatever happened I had to complete the route. No need to check at which rep I was.

OpenSea has received a Wells notice from the SEC threatening to sue us because they believe NFTs on our platform are securities. We're shocked the SEC would make such a sweeping move against creators and artists. But we're ready to stand up and fight. This is a move into uncharted territory. By targeting NFTs, the SEC would stifle innovation on an even broader scale: hundreds of thousands of online artists and creatives are at risk, and many do not have the resources to defend themselves. In addition to standing our own ground, we're pledging $5M to help cover legal fees for NFT creators and devs that receive a Wells notice. Every creator, big or small, should be able to innovate without fear. I hope the SEC will come to its senses sooner rather than later, and that they'll listen with an open mind. Until then, we'll stand up and fight for our industry. Onwards 🌊⛵️

This week at /quilibrium we shipped - A massive cascade of changes to the bootstrap peer code (mostly on the p2p stack side) to unlock sustained volume with improved message delivery under 100k simultaneous peers (accidentally proved this over 200k peers because my deploy script had an oops, rip my infra budget): https://github.com/QuilibriumNetwork/ceremonyclient/tree/v2.0-bootstrap - Heavy refactoring of blatant (lazy) abuse of defer/panic/recover in go-multiaddr, go-libp2p, go-libp2p-kad-dht, and go-libp2p-blossomsub to rip out huge chunks of stacked 200-600ns penalties that were blocking our targets for routing - passed the connection management/routing success tests supporting an overload of 100M messages/sec - Upstreamed the libp2p specific changes to our separate fork of libp2p stack so other teams can share in the perf wins: https://github.com/QuilibriumNetwork/go-libp2p-stack

July is my favorite month and today is my favorite day, it’s my birthday. So many amazing things happened in the last 12 months, much more that I could ever think of and predict. If there’s one lesson I’ve learned - to dream big. Literally anything is possible with dedication, hard work, and a pinch of luck. Still measuring life by sunrises and sunsets, still seeking dialogues and conversations, still showing up for my beliefs and values, but also following my curiosity, searching for new side quests, staying hungry and grateful.
