Sorry to ruin the dreams of future real estate tycoons but NYC is not in fact giving away buildings at $9 per sqf. The property was sold for a 14.2% face discount, not 97.5%. @nytimes confused a tenancy lease with the property itself. Totally different assets! https://t.co/YRHjcY2vGA
