Have found myself thinking more and more about new web3 social apps. But almost all of them seem worthless to pursue without notifications infrastructure, particularly:

- the ability to send notifications to users not yet on the app.
- an inbox that users pay attention to.

possibly controversial opinion: i would like that inbox to be inside farcaster. FC is my only DAU app for pzakin.eth. 

Seems like the only candidate that can dependably deliver messages that will be *read* by other users...

It should compatible with farcaster in such a way that farcaster can integrate it but it should also have other clients. 

It would suck to end up with many chats for many apps like Instagram, Reddit, messenger, twitter, etc…

Rather we need a protocol and all to adopt.
