Scary. My reaction: It’s still up to the manager / company to decide how to use the information and approach coaching and having conversations with the employee. Some will be ruthless with it and will gain a reputation for that, while others will use it to better inspire their teams and craft positive team culture norms to mobilize the desired behaviors. One positive: it’ll cut down on people who excel at “managing up” but not delivering anything themself.
