Day 1 of my zone 2 training. @mw is it normal to keep the same hr the entire time with a constant pace and incline (resistance)? I actually dialed it up a bit at the end because my hr was starting to drop.

If you're trying to build aerobic baseline then yep you want to keep your HR as steady as possible. Not sure if whatever you use to track it has heart rate zones but you want to avoid spiking it if you're Zone 2 training (best for baseline) Mix it up w/ laddered run days where you spike it on purpose ie. sprint / jog
