So there’s a couple ways to look at this. It’s possible that she will have something to say regarding the ceasefire, but was saying something else at that time. (Which is why the protester was called a heckler) (she was hyping people up) she did say before that everyone’s voice matters It’s possible that the person was being a heckler. It is what it is on that standpoint. I’m not sure what trumps standpoint is on Gaza either (you’re welcome to let me know). It’s a brand new show if she wins, so maybe we need to wait to see what she (and walz) have to say officially, before it goes one way or another. What do yall think? https://x.com/theserfstv/status/1821345107485905318?s=46&t=HYdm6H1VkhM8SDe8QF114w

I don’t understand the thinking behind shouting out your opinion. It’s like real life Twitter ad. Everyone is just gonna skip it. This conflict is obviously a large priority for any administration. I don’t know how heckling someone gets anything done. But I’m 40+ so maybe I just don’t understand how young people talk now. Like maybe shouting at people when they are talking is generally considered a good way to make a point. Definitely willing to see the other side. But I don’t at this point

It's not obviously a priority to me and a majority of others who are watching things get worse and worse

I also don’t know if the same thing happens if a protestor about women’s rights, police brutality, gay rights, would we end up with a heckler situation. The unfortunate thing is that I don’t know, and wish we would be in situation where gazans are able to get their voices heard and not marred by situations like this. Babbling. 🤣

So you’re right. I also can’t speak on Gaza. The only thing I can say is that the situation for them is dire and it’s not their fault. Does it make more sense to protest by shouting? Does it make sense to stand in silent protest, or does it make sense to speak after the fact. I don’t know. But the unfortunate things is now it becomes the person being a heckler, and not the focus of the atrocities of what’s going on. I really just can’t say anymore. But. Purp, I appreciate your opinion and where you’re coming from here.

Perhaps, @jeffexcell is right, and they can have a chance to discuss a way to solve this. And thinking about it more, You think Kamala said “you want trump to win” because it’s going to be worse if trump was in office !

Yeah I’m trying not to wade too far in as I have largely not been up to date on the Gaza situation. (I have been deep into the Ukrainian war, and when this started I realized that following war was really bad for my mental health and had to kinda decide which to follow) Anyway. I’m don’t have strong opinions about it except Bibi is committing genocide and America is helping and also what hamas did was a terrorist attack. But even those opinions are just starter pack ones. My guess is that it’s way more nuanced than that
