"evil" is a high-level category implemented by human brains. Of course it exists, much like "parameter 187 of layer 31 of llama3" exists (eg. it almost certainly has close analogues in the other LLMs that have been trained).

The category exists, but does the concept itself? I.e. we could have the word “blue” but should it not map to a frequency and entirely subjective, it would not exist in the same way people say evil doesn’t exist
