For dubai (I won't be there) I recommend a 10km lap around the full marina. Very nice view, esp if you start around 5:30am so you get to experience the transition from night view to day view For paris (also won't be there :( ) running along the Seine can be good, fewer interruptions west side, or Bois de Vincennes
