Something I’ve been learning is that not everything needs to be efficient Like I don’t need to load my laundry and then do the dishes so the laundry is already started I didn’t recognize what a huge cognitive burden it was to operationalize my day to day chores

i like walking to do something in the other part of the house and then coming back for some item i could have taken with me but decided not to. call that single threaded operation.
