Find a clear space with plenty of room to move. 3. Start with a simple jab. Keep your fist relaxed until the moment of impact. 4. Practice your footwork – step forward with your lead foot as you punch. 5. Keep your non-punching hand up to protect your face. 6. Work with a partner to simulate a punch and practice dodging. 7.
