Giving money is great but helping to disseminate public service announcements that foster prosocial behavior and raise awareness about fundamental emotional needs is what is very effective. How do you expect people to want to use glo if they don't understand why it's good to help others? It seems obvious to us who get it but it truly isn't to those who don't. They don't understand why they should spend resources on other people when they themselves are scrambling to stay ahead in a global death match to "earn a living".

Would love to share thoughts on a few items. It's Bram from Glo. I don't think that giving <> public service announcements to foster prosocial behavior form a dichotomy or that it creates a divide. Giving may connect us to the recipient and make us more aware of others' emotional needs. Even if the concept of "giving" isn't appealing, it's a strong reason to use Glo Dollars. Our currency embeds giving into its core (without the Glo Dollar user having to donate), supporting causes like fighting extreme poverty, climate action, and web3 public goods. This creates a net positive impact compared to other stablecoins that extract value from the ecosystem. On the concern about people using Glo when they're struggling financially: we aren't targeting those people. Would believe they may benefit from Glo Dollar transactions if the holder has chosen GiveDirectly as the funding recipient.
