@alor what is the best site for finding marathons/half-marathons in Italy? I've tried myraceland.com and goandrace.com but neither is particularly comprehensive. Hoping there's something better.

Hey @camilags Runna was super helpful getting me ready for NY as well as a half earlier this year. Well designed. Kept me injury free. And adapted to my results. A bit “over-helpful” sometimes to keep you on pace, but that can be turned off.

What's the protocol for posting a fundraising page in this channel? I'm running my first marathon in 25 years 😱 because I promised myself I would if one of my kids wanted to run one with me. Unfortunately my 3rd child is athletic, so I have to keep my promise 😂. I'm fundraising for a good cause, City Harvest. Let me know. 🙏🏻

That’s probably why the inserts I used to use when I was younger screwed up my knee. They were designed to correct my pronation. Never trust professionals!

Pretty sure I pronate. Need new shoes. These have about 1K on them, lots on strade bianche (see holes). I have to go up a size next time as my feet keep getting bigger. Losing 3 of 5 toenails on my right foot 😭

Most accurate prediction. Runna had me at over 2 hours. Actual time 1:55:51. Next prediction: will I manage a sub 4 in NY in November? My last NY (when I could do halfs in 1:45) was 3:50. But that was in 1998, when I was significantly younger.
