classic example of everything being a spectrum, eh.

i wish, i really really wish i was into reading like that. i always felt so dumb growing up for not being able to focus long enough to read a paragraph + understand it too. my mom and brother read a lot and i'd feel left out. oh well.

I was literally the opposite as a kid - I would get into such deep hyperfocus reading that my parents couldn’t even get me to lay down the book for meals - the countless food stains on my old books are evidence 😂
