After working in KYC/KYB and AML for over 5 yrs, I can say Persona is great but not for fintech. They are best for entertainment/social companies like Netflix, OnlyFans, Paramount, etc. They are not built for the banking rails that exist. If you pick an Alloy, Unit21, or Oscilar, they’ve already thought through the 360 of the onboarding and underwriting of person to transactions across depts ensuring less friction for fast growth for biz. Alloy is the most mature platform with a crypto function that needs evolving but will be prioritized again given the market demands.

I see the benefit here. Sadly, I’ll delete my profile after the acquisition. I’ve already deleted Facebook a decade ago, X this year (used it for fintech networking), no Amazon, and contemplating Insta 2025. I hate Zuck, Elon, and Bezos. Cold turkey social and use a VPN to read non-western journalism. 🧘🏽‍♀️

Yeah, this guy or PE firm(s) are in the background is scheming to purchase. Sounds like a lot of political bluster and noise because the financial value will prevail. - Size and footprint of tiktok - 170 millions of users - $10B of annual revenue - $100B in valuation There will be a pause to distract and disrupt the technology to be “compliant” (work around) till next lawsuit. The value is the brand and data. That and the tech will inevitably go to a firm but algo will dissolve during the pause. That’s the value to consumers. You can see/feel difference in comparison to Reels and Shorts which I feel like I’m fed paid for curated influencer content. I prefer every day people in real time. Let’s say I’m traveling to Australia next week and I need to know what to pack. I can see real time Toks of what people are wearing and doing/posting for inspiration.

It’s never to increase salaries. We’d rather hire employees in other countries because they have better education (often masters and above), basic healthcare, and mandatory PTO provided by the govt while paying less overall for *quality talent*. In the US, if on Maternity leave or disability… we will likely fire you because you’re using company resources (not govt) while not producing.
