The fashion in LA is interesting. It’s a monoculture and women are still dressing for the male gaze. 

It’s conventional and commercial attraction. That said, the amount of balayage, stilettos, and tight fitting clothes I see on the regular is insane circa 2000’s.

Interesting, I figured it would lean more masculine (but still monoculture) in SF because of the heavy tech culture. Pretty privilege or attractive gets punished at work. 

I’ve submitted to black tshirt, jeans, and sneaker culture in NY because of that and commuting.

As a girl who lived in SF for 8yrs this is 💯 Accurate. The difference in fashion is crazy.
