Happiness is a feeling, and feelings are fleeting. If you're constantly trying to achieve happiness, you'll forever chase "the dragon" or an elusive goal. Instead, embrace and truly savor those moments when you do feel happy. However, don't let your life be defined solely by these transient moments. Focus on your values instead. Live by them and make decisions based on them to achieve eternal stability and fulfillment.

Values don't need to be existential mantra(s) and how they manifest in this reality congruently. It's as simple as: Family, Marriage, Parenting, Community, Travel, Leisure, Health, Work, etc. Example: I value work because it provides stability, independence, and freedom. The key is the deeper meaning of "why" you value it, which will be the compass of your decisions.
