A few years ago, I made a little package called Onoma to cure the aneurysms I get from reading hexadecimal crypto addresses. Onoma turns hexadecimal addresses into human-readable names deterministically. Last weekend I turned it into a chrome extension. Nameless addresses are now names.

skeptics love these 'debunk' style questions but they're almost always asking the wrong question: >why does it need a token/chain? - it's not a 'need' question - *can* it have a token/chain? >why can't agents use stripe API over crypto? - it's not a 'can' question - *would* they use stripe over crypto?

It is pretty clear that Bitcoin as a blockchain is a colossal waste of energy. As BTC custody continues centralizing to a few ETFs, CEXs, institutions, in the long term >50% of BTC will be held by a handful of organisations Might as well just cancel PoW and move to PoA at that point. It would actually be *more decentralized* as PoW will inevitably centralize over to a handful of industrial players and pools due to crippling economies of scale. Plus, it'll solve the security budget problem. As before, the full nodes will be there as the last line of defence irrespective The only thing matters for BTC is it remains a speculative store-of-value, doesn't matter the mechanism to achieve that https://x.com/i/trending/1885868663116296256

no you can't "just do things". you're an idiot or a current thing chaser if you're saying that looking at blake scholl and boom. it's not a 10year journey. it's a 15 year (5 pre-boom) journey. the dude carved his path methodically over years. he spent months in a physics class at stanford and debating cost models with professors. then we collaborated with some of the best gray haired from boeing. i'm a huge fan of his approach vs raising/chasing current things

what a day!! i was educated on all things crypto by the farcaster community ( thanks to everyone who thoughtfully shared i read everything and tried to reply to as much as i could) i saw my brother score infront of a stadium of 41,000 people ( he scored the equaliser at the 90th minute and it was the first time i’ve ever seen him score in real life ) and had a gluten free pizza to celebrate with my bestie who i haven’t seen ages
