This is 100% crime Our suspension email says that the Verified Organization Subscription (that we pay over $1K a month for) will not be automatically cancelled EVEN THOUGH YOU WRONGFULLY SUSPENDED OUR ACCOUNT... The app won't let me cancel it either (i'd have to cancel debit card) This is why decentralized social media matters.

furthermore, a token that can survive medium to long term will generate the creator FAR more revenue than they would make simply launching tokens, sniping them, and dumping it over and over. this is substantially less effort for them too haha.

My perspective (which will definitely differ from people that professionally launch and rug tokens on other platforms like pump) is that protecting a token at launch gives it a much higher success rate. *most* tokens die extremely early because it gets sniped & dumped. if a token has a better chance at success, it has a longer lifespan, and the creator can earn ongoing revenue from the trading fees. this really doesn't impact the volatility of the token as much as people expect. people can still ape multiple ETH into tokens and still receive tokens. if you do a 1 ETH buy immediately after a token is launched, the tokens you receive are still worth 1 ETH... you simply receive like less than a percent of the supply, as opposed to 30+% of the supply like you would on other platforms.

g8keep was a fully authentic account. we built it over the last 10 months or so to a modest 9,000 followers. there was nothing to farm on our platform nor any purchased engagement (followers/likes/retweets)

Additionally, we have a telegram bot @g8keepBOT that you use to deploy a token by sending a single message. No wallet connection, no private keys, no gas fees. We're VERY actively developing this bot and will be constantly shipping new features to it.

what is @g8keep (g8.xyz)? g8keep is a launchpad on base (& abstract) that we've been working on for the last 10 months What separates g8keep apart from most launchpads are the launch mechanics. g8keep is built to give truly fair access to traders, and long term rewards to creators. On g8keep, we protect tokens at the protocol level for the first 15 minutes. This is to mitigate snipers, bundlers, and early rug pulls. This can't be circumvented by using multiple wallets, similar to other attempts people have made to combat sniping. The easiest way to explain our protection is: if you buy too many tokens too fast, you receive fewer tokens, and pay for them at a higher than current market cap. In addition to this, if you create a token that migrates, you receive: - 0.01 ETH reward - .4% of trading fees forever On g8keep, you can earn revenue from a token without having to do a single buy/sell & impacting the chart. We promote healthy long lasting tokens that don't require the creator to snipe it themself.

we are not g8clank. for days leading up to our launch with clanker people created a few tokens on their platform and our platform with the name trying to capitalize. same thing happened on both versions of our release on base and abstract. people made tokens named g8/g8keep to try and capitalize. we don’t restrict token names and this is unfortunately what can happen. we posted a chart to show the snipe protected launch chart as we have in the past for tokens and followed up after to clarify that it’s not our token. we have categorically stated on twitter and telegram that we do not have a token nor will we. we like to exemplify how our launch mechanics work, and the goal isn’t to specifically promote the token shown. this is why since this, we don’t show the name of the token when showing early launch charts. i do really apologize for the confusion here and anyone that purchased the token with expectations that it was tied to us.

Today, Twitter manually and wrongfully suspended the account of my company, g8keep. If this was just a personal account, I really wouldn't care as much. But, g8keep is a pre-seed venture backed company. We have employees. We have salaries and benefits to pay. g8keep is a full time job for everyone on the team. The unfortunate thing is, Twitter is quite literally one of the main distribution and marketing platforms in our industry. This was the platform that we used to build our business since day 1. I don't like that this is the case, but in the crypto industry, quite literally everyone is on Twitter. Until now, I didn't really see the negative effects of censorship on social media platforms. That is, until it happened to me and my company. Without any notice, and without any non-automated responses, they were able to essentially delete our company's presence from their platform. This is a pretty eye opening moment for me to start prioritizing this platform.
