Hard to see nuance in acts like this. 

Unfortunately it seems like it will only get worse—the ICJ has effectively legitimised it with their ruling.

I think the ICJ deserves more credit - they called it what it is, "plausible genocide" and were very clear in their language, Israel was always going to ignore a call for a ceasefire anyways

More importantly, since Hamas is not part of the process, the ICJ *couldnt* call for a ceasefire anyways

So in reality - they likely did as much as they could, which may be important in the future ... and unfortunately and cynically does not help Gazans one bit at the moment, i have no illusions
