my biggest concern with people in tech who spend all day shouting on the internet is that many of them spend very little time talking to the people actually critical to society:

doctors, firefighters, police officers, construction workers, mechanics, farmers, chefs, baristas, mailmen, janitors, retail workers, etc.

I’ve talked about this to my boss recently. It’s important for those in tech to be in the shoes of those who actually use the technology. You can’t make a good product unless you know what a population actually needs.
