Back on infernal CT a while ago, I mentioned how blockchains can be used to collectively build stories. There's a fun single-player game called Storyteller that does this. This, but with many people cooperating to string stories together in different ways https://annapurnainteractive.com/en/games/storyteller

Think of it like an advanced exquisite corpse, where the rules are coordinated by smart contracts. Currently, exquisite corpse-like constructions is limited to a few people, but if there's an automated consensus tool it can potentially be expanded to thousands https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exquisite_corpse

Just to clarify, the gameplay on top can be anything - it can be simple text based, or more complex physics and combat. This is more about a world featuring evolving storytelling with many participants, and there being a canonical version possible thanks to smart contract consensus, nuances aside
