Increasingly, I don’t think web3 is the next iteration of the web that will replace web2, but rather a fork that will run in parallel. Not a strong opinion yet but something I can’t shake. Also not sure how I feel about it if true. Thoughts?

web3 is powered by everything web2 built. It’s more akin to the natural adaption of the original web if we didn’t end up with walled gardens during the cloud era boom.

For sure! But that has little to do with how/if web2 and web3 will coexist in the future. For instance, OG web is more or less gone. Will web2 go the same way?
